| In this episode from Michael Cullen’s series on bandsawn boxes, he starts the cutting and assembly of a two-walled box. The third and final box in the series, it exemplifies the elegance of Michael’s technique, which is quick, efficient, and requires no measurement and no joinery. Michael will be a featured instructor at Fine Woodworking HANDS ON, February 1-3 in Tampa, Florida. His class, Turn Your Bandsaw into a Box-Making Wonder will explore the art of box making in a very creative way with an inspirational workshop that focuses on exploring ideas that fall outside the box. Emphasis will be on using the bandsaw to shape and sculpt boxes with pleasing curves, but it’s also a chance to explore unusual, fun, or even zany shapes. The workshop will also show how to add patterns, texture, and colors to the surfaces of the boxes. | See more on FineWoodworking.com: | | | |
