| Home Depot and Menards Defend Class Action Suits Over 4x4 Lumber |

| Last week two class-action law suits were filed against large retail lumber sellers Menards and Home Depot for allegedly deceiving the lumber-buying public when describing some of their lumber products, such as the 4x4. "Defendant has received significant profits from its false marketing and sale of its dimensional lumber products," the action against Menards contends. "Defendant's representations as to the dimension of these products were false and misleading," the suit against Home Depot alleges. For more on these stories please see today's Industry News section.
