| Judge to BLM: Sell More Timber |

| A US District Court ruling on Wednesday vacated the system used to protect the spotted owl and ordered the BLM to sell more timber in Southern Oregon. Judge Richard J. Leon decided a computer model used by government agencies to approximate spotted owl populations did not comply with the Administrative Procedures Act.
