| WA State Timber Salvage Yields +10 Million Board Feet |

| Salvage projects in the Naneum Ridge State Forest in Washington yielded more than 10 million board feet of timber, up from the original 9.3 million estimated by the DNR. The state manages 9,000 acres of the 42,310 acres burned by last summer's Table Mountain Fire. More on this story can be found in today's Industry News category.

| Lumber Futures made lower lows and closed down for the fourth consecutive day in part to lower cash quotes on soft demand. The market extended this week's losses in the after-hours market and continued down on mixed selling and a lack of new buying. Profit taking short covering near and into the 200 month moving average of $285.50 with some technical buying on oversold indicators lent support setting the session low in the lead July contract at $283.70.
