| Australia's Southern Cross University's new pilot program to turn wood waste into diesel fuel focuses on small scale production with local resources. Shipping waste material has cut or eliminated profitability in large scale production. Researchers aim is to create a small scale system that would allow any sawmill to process it's own material for on site power generation. | New two week lows were made in Lumber Futures closing the market lower on speculative selling and "stops". Lumber started the week modestly higher on technically motivated profit taking short covering.
