| Train Service Returns to South Oregon Mill |

| Train service has returned for the first time in over six years to the Roseburg Forest Products mill in Coquille. Rehab work on the line was recently completed by the Coos Port Bay. Jeff Brandt, the director of Transportation for the company: "We're allowed to reach our customers in a more efficient manner. | Lumber futures sold off today and closed lower after making new recent lows for the sixth consecutive day. The market opened down on follow through long liquidation after making new lows Friday. The negative start to the week prompted continued selling pushing prices down through "stop loss" sell orders setting the lows. Spreading also weighed on the market notably in the front May contract which becomes the "spot" month on Wednesday by funds rolling out of May and into July trading nearly 250 times from $2.70 to $4.10. ...Click here to read the rest of this article. |
